Meet our Advocates

Susan Dryland - Non-statutory Advocacy Manager

Susan works with a variety of vulnerable people living in North Tyneside, including those with physical disabilities, mental health issues, learning difficulties, dementia and young people in transition from child to adult services. She also works under Care Act legislation, which means she advocates for people who are in safeguarding, undergoing assessments or assessment reviews as well as care planning.

Susan's role is also to supervise a small advocacy team and allocate cases to them. She also recruits, trains and supervises our volunteer Citizen Advocacy service.
