Legacies

A legacy is for the future and for generations to come.

Legacies of all sizes play an important role in our work. They help secure the future of our charity. They are a great way to give and are tax efficient. If you would like to support IANE's future a gift in your will could be the answer.

Why make a Will?

Many people are shocked by what could happen to their money and possessions if they die without a will, or without updating it to reflect their wishes. The decision to make a will is one of the most important decisions you will make as it lets you choose who will inherit your assets.

How do I leave something to Independent Advocacy North East?

Leaving a gift in your will to our charity could not be simpler. If you have already made a will, your solicitor can add a codicil (a further note on it) specifying your wishes. If you choose to leave a bequest, please state to your solicitor - Independent Advocacy North East, Tyne & Wear. Registered Charity Number 1148607

The generosity of benefactors leaving that 'last gift' is greatly appreciated by our charity as it means we can carry on helping the people who need it most here in the North East. Thank you.
